(The more this question scares you the more you NEED to take this quiz.)

LETS GET REAL

The question isn't if you're "working hard enough."

The question is whether you've built something that you're leading, or something that's needs you to operate. There's a difference, and it's costing you more than you think.

Most founders can't tell which one they've got until they try to step away and it falls apart. This quiz will tell you where you're at right now.

What the quiz measures

The five patterns that decide whether a founder is trapped or free.

PATTERN 1

The Accountability Drain

Does everything route back to the founder's desk?

PATTERN 2

Wait vs. Lead

Problems brought, or recommendations brought?

PATTERN 3

The Missing Filter

PATTERN 4

PATTERN 5

Why I Created the "Leave for a Month" Test.

A two-person test for founders and their right-hand leaders

I created this test because I've found it's the quickest way to assess which stage of leadership you're in and where to focus your energy.

Be honest. If you vanished for 30 days (no Slack, no "quick questions," no checking in from a beach) would your business run, or would it hold its breath until you got back?

This isn't a test about how hard you work. You already work hard. It's a test about whether you've built something that needs you, or something that's addicted to you. There's a difference, and it's costing you more than you think.

It's 15 questions and takes about 3 minutes, but the results will be very insightful.
